Judge Kristin Bays Announces Re-Election Bid for 284th District Court

CONROE, Texas — Judge Kristin Bays is proud to announce her campaign for re-election to the 284th District Court in Montgomery County, where she has served since 2018.

“It has been the honor of my life to serve the people of Montgomery County,” Judge Bays said. “Justice must always be fair, efficient, and rooted in the rule of law. I remain committed to protecting the rights of litigants, supporting the work of attorneys, and upholding the trust our community has placed in me.”

During her time serving Montgomery County, Judge Bays has overseen more than 102 jury trials, 3,316 bench trials, 7,513 hearings, and disposed of 17,292 cases. Known for her preparation, impartiality, and deep understanding of civil law, she has strengthened the 284th District Court as one of the busiest civil courts in Texas.

Judge Bays is a summa cum laude graduate of Baylor Law School. She earned top academic honors and multiple advocacy awards before later arguing cases before the Texas Supreme Court and the U.S. Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals. It was one of the many highlights of her career when retired Texas Supreme Court Justice Scott A. Brister described her as “one of the best advocates I saw during my six years on the Texas Supreme Court.”

Montgomery County will be well served to keep Judge Kristin Bays as Judge of the 284th District Court. Early voting will begin in February, and commence on March 3rd.

“Montgomery County deserves a judge who works tirelessly and upholds the highest standards of justice,” Judge Bays said. “I am proud of the work we’ve accomplished, and I look forward to continuing to serve with integrity and dedication.”
